A place to enhance photography in Iran - Undergrads Thesis - September 2014

The goal was to design a forum for photographers, to learn, practice, gather in a place, and exhibit their photos. I aimed to design a building that could work as a photography subject itself. The building that includes rhythm, light and shadow, repetition and composition. For this purpose, I needed a base form and I took ideas from elements of photography as an inspiration to make the base form, such as photo proportion, golden ratio, 6 blade iris diaphragm and specially its motion. I also used the geometry of the site to refine the border. By slicing the form in different directions, I made final refinements to the project.
